As a person who has struggled every day with the effects of the pandemic in a personal level, I can only say THANK YOU FOR THIS!!
At the start, I never thought things would be so hard on me when talking about a virus. I took care of me and all but after a year, things got really hard for me, specially with the side effects on the brain, which is why I can relate in every way with this little (but important) project. I can only say thank you for this and hope everything gets better soon for all of us.
Really nice atmosphere. The pixel art filter on the 3D was a really nice aesthetic choice. Along with the way the people's faces morphed. Really cool style that I hope you adapt into a longer form gate and/or experiment with more!
Amazing you created a truly thrilling mood and of course capture the anxiety affect. You have taught me something about making a horror experience. great job!
Your game was decent, but not one that I would play normally. If you make a sequel, could you expand upon this? For example: the walk into/arround/back out of the store, and back upstairs into the appartment? It might make your game more fun to play and with a "hard mode" you could add more people or forget where your mask is. But overall, ok.
Great game. I, myself, wasn't necessarily afraid of getting sick, but I did hate going out for fear that I might have covid without knowing it and spread it to others and ultimately be the reason someone else died.
thanks for making this, great way to spread awareness and let people experience a bit of the terror many people go through, its an amazing game and the game design for such a small experience was on point, beautiful low poly graphics and perfect pacing, the visual cue of the light on the car was just the cherry on top.
as someone with social anxiety myself, these minutes made me more uncomfortable than the entirety of outlast
Glad to see content out like this to spread awareness of health anxiety. Maybe this will help antimaskers develop some empathy. Even with us coming out of the pandemic (which isn't entirely true), we still need to be practicing social distancing and wearing masks--even if we ourselves are vaccinated. (And please go get vaccinated if you haven't already!) Social distancing can still help those especially vulnerable, particularly those who cannot get vaxxed, and the more people who are protected, the less likely the virus is to mutate. (it requires a host in which to mutate, so if a host is denied to the virus...)
Anyway, thanks for making this game. Loved the music at the end.

One part I do love is the 3D. That must've taken a lot of work, and thank you serif_ for spending time on that part.
